Stone head unearthed on site of ancient abbey could represent Edward II (

A 700-year-old carved stone head believed to be of Edward II and thought to have been part of a previously unknown gallery of statues of kings and queens, has been discovered on the former site of Shaftesbury Abbey in Dorset.
