Rare 900-year-old penny found in a field in Oxfordshire could fetch thousands at auction (

The silver penny was issued by Henry of Anjou (later crowned Henry II) between 1139 and 1148 during ‘the Anarchy’ civil war as he tried to gain control of south-west England away from King Stephen.
