Archaeologists unearthed 30 pieces of wood believed to be from a merchant ship dating to the time of the Malacca Sultanate as well as hundreds of coins from the time of Sultan Mahmud, the Dutch (VOC) and Portuguese occupation and Ming and Qing dynasty porcelain shards.
