Whatafind.com Community Guidelines
Whatafind.com is a place for lively and respectful conversation, where open participation and above all inclusion within the community is valued.
To that end we enforce the following set of community guidelines:
Posts
Only submit content that is on-topic, including news about professional and amateur treasure hunters finding something of value, monetary or historical, as well as stories about accidental finds and discoveries.
Avoid all stories about politics, sports, religion and gossip, including viral news and videos. No funny pictures.
Also avoid posting content that contains commercial pitches or spam.
Do not use posts to ask questions to our team or request support from us.
When adding a link, don’t make the title stand out using all capital letters and/or exclamation points.
If the title includes the name of the site, please take it out, because the site name will be displayed after the link.
Always use the original title, unless it is misleading or a click-bait headline.
If a post reports a story first told on another site, and a link to the original source is available, submit the latter.
If a post is off-topic, spam or contains offensive or inappropriate content, flag it using the report button or by emailing us directly at abuse@whatafind.com.
Comments
Always be respectful and when possible thoughtful.
Criticize, but don’t insult anyone.
Show your support for a story or comment with an upvote.
Avoid unrelated controversies, generic tangents, flame wars and asking for upvotes.

Unacceptable content in posts, comments as well as username and profiles includes:
Hateful speech
Threats and calls to violence.
Spam.
